H4: Hip Hop Has History & Kid’s Dance Day

Culture Shock LA's Kids Dance Day provides FREE hip hop dance classes for kids 17 and under!
All skill levels and backgrounds welcome.

This beloved event invites young dancers of all skill levels to explore various dance styles through engaging classes led by a talented roster of local performers and artists. Designed to inspire creativity and movement, the program fosters artistic expression in a supportive environment.

Registration begins at 2:00 PM, offering free beginner to advanced classes in dance forms such as Locking, Breaking, House, and Hip Hop choreography. New this year, the event features a "Hip Hop for Tots" class and special Awesome Shock workshops that integrate occupational therapy and dance to support children with special needs.


Sunday, March 9 classes start @ 1PM

Founded in 2005, H4 was created as a space to connect dancers of all backgrounds through education, culture, and movement. Hosted by Culture Shock LA, the event continues to serve as a bridge—honoring the past, shaping the present, and inspiring the future of dance.
