Instructors

Jon Aldanese has been with the Culture Shock LA family for more than 16 years. He was part of our first Future Shock LA team and now is Artistic Director of that youth team. He has directed local teams including Carson Streetdance, Kaba Kids, Kaba Modern, and KM Legacy. Jon is also currently a Dance Coach at South
Torrance High School for their All-Male dance team.

Matt Gan has more than 10 years of dance and creative experience. He currently teaches classes at Elements Dance Space in addition to being an Artistic Director for
Culture Shock LA’s youth team, Mighty Shock LA.

Rachel Woods-Oshiro came from an eclectic education and arts background. As an alumni of the University of California San Diego (UCSD), she is dedicated to exploring the creative ways we physically move through space…and life. From choreographing for the stage, to training bodies in functional fitness movement, to directing moving images for the screen, she’s a lover of movement in all its forms and combined her passions to create an innovative ‘I Don’t Dance’ professional leadership workshop program. She currently also is an instructor for STEEZY Studio’s online classes.

Zuce Morales was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, where she began her formal dance training at the age of 15. In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of being a professional dancer. She is trained in Hip Hop, Whacking, Popping, House, and other dance forms but her specialty is Locking. She’s trained at the legendary Debbie Reynolds Dance Studios, Movement Lifestyle and Millennium, received certifications from Glendale College, and won the 2019 LA Red Bull Dance Your Style competition.

Currently, Zuce is focused on making growing the Locking dance community by teaching and hosting free community sessions in the area called “Let’s Lock!”. She is committed to giving opportunities to street dancers and sharing Don “Campbellock” Campbell’s legacy to future generations to carry it on.
